The token swap has been completed successfully. Thanks to our community for their support today. For more details on the plan for the swap, check our announcement article.

Withdrawals and deposits on the new contract can now resume, and information services are in the process of updating their reference material.

In the interim, be aware that the new contract “0xaea…” is the only contract supported by the Fetch.ai Foundation and exchanges

New contract address

0xaea46A60368A7bD060eec7DF8CBa43b7EF41Ad85

Please do do NOT use the old 0x1d contract, it continues to run but is no longer the supported FET by Fetch.ai Foundation, or any of the market participants.

Ledger

Ledger runs on a centralised list of tokens, which is in the process of being updated. You can connect your ledger device to MyEtherWallet or Metamask, and add the token as directed above. The FET token will need to be managed via the Metamask or MEW interface until the centralised token list is updated

Next steps

State has been successfully migrated to the new contract, most wallets will now need to be updated to the new contract address in order to view the new tokens.

Hardware wallets and information services have been informed, but it may take some days for these changes to filter through. No funds have been lost, and if you need support we are here to help you.

Funds from smart contracts

There are a small number of tokens that remained in smart contracts, and the new FET tokens would have been permanently lost in the transition to the new token contract. These have been reassigned to the Foundation core wallet and are in the process of being sent to the originating wallets.
